If you ride more than about 10 km each way, or need highway speeds, a petrol scooter is genuinely the better choice — and we'll tell you that in the showroom. This is built for the 10 km you actually ride.
One EV Tej warranty
The vehicle comes from one manufacturer and the battery from another. That's our problem to manage, not yours — so you get a single warranty from us, and a single counter to bring it to.

Before you decide
Do I really not need a licence?
This is a low-speed electric vehicle, which is exempt from registration, licensing and compulsory insurance in India. Anyone 16 or over can ride it. We'll show you the classification paperwork in the showroom.
What happens if the battery dies?
It's covered for three years. Bring the scooter to our workshop in Mallapur — we keep spare packs in stock so you're not waiting weeks for a replacement to arrive.
Can two adults ride it?
Yes. This model carries 180 kg and has 10" wheels with hydraulic suspension front and rear, which is what makes two-up riding comfortable rather than merely possible.
Is it safe in the rain?
Yes for normal monsoon riding. Avoid riding through standing water deeper than the wheel hub, same as any scooter.
How do I charge it at home?
Any ordinary household socket. A full charge takes about four hours and uses roughly two units of electricity — around ₹16.
What documents do I need for EMI?
Aadhaar, PAN and three months of bank statements or salary slips. Bring them and we can usually complete approval the same day.
